Meadows Lyra-Lou named for our little Miss Lyra Longbottom, our dachshund, who crossed over the rainbow bridge in August 2026. Lyra-Lou is a heavily-petalled, 10-12cm bloom with a purple/maroon colour on the petal backs which gives it a bi-coloured appearance. The plants are around 120cm tall with leathery leaves and each plant provided several nice-sized tubers. This summer was the third year of assessment for Lyra-Lou and the plants did well despite the hot and dry growing season.
